My mom and dad had spent the night last night so we all got up today and went down to Tye Lake for Camille's soccer game. It is their second to last game and so after the game we had our end of the season pizza party. Coach Doug is also a local firefighter and so we had our party down at the fire station and also got to go on a tour and he took all the kids on rides around the neighborhood in the ladder truck with the lights and sirens going.
All of the girls were presented their very own trophy and you would have thought they were really made of gold the way those girls were smiling.
I am so happy that Camille got involved in soccer this year. She has never wanted to be involved in sports before and this was a great thing to ease her into team sports. Having Coach Doug as her leader helped too since he has been a family friend since Camille was in 1st grade with his daughter and his ex wife and I are very good friends. Her whole team grew so much from the first game where they were just slaughtered to the last game where they did their best and scored as much as they could.

What a fun day! I love, love, love the picture of the kids in the leaves! Mostly cuz they'll be able to look back and know that Camille was being a big sis ;-)!!
