It's that time of year again when we get to get gooey carving our pumpkins and choosing our costumes. Camille has been set on being an Aqua Fairy, whatever that is, so we went to Party City and looked for it. I of course said no right away since it seemed to show a little too much 10 year old skin but with much begging and the promise of a shirt underneath she got it.
Next came Cole's turn to decide. Was he going to be a Power Ranger, some sort of Superhero? Hmmm, none of the above. Cole settled on an Elvis costume of all things! What other 6 year old do you know that wants to be Elvis for Halloween? Who cares, he loves it and we think he looks adorable in it!
I have been bitten by the crafting and decorating bug. I have decided that I am going to make my children's memories of holidays good ones by decorating like crazy. They have really enjoyed all the homemade decorations and the store bought ones. I have gotten some great ideas from different ladies blogs that I read and I am now going to follow their lead and make my house festive and beautiful. WOOHOO!!! Go you!!! Very cool decorations! I'm gonna have to start doing something with my blog other than using it to just leave comments. Time to jump on the bandwagon I guess. :)
